शक्ति के लिए देवी आराधना की सुगमता का कारण मां की करुणा, दया, स्नेह का भाव किसी भी भक्त पर सहज ही हो जाता है। ये कभी भी अपने बच्चे (भक्त) को किसी भी तरह से अक्षम या दुखी नहीं देख सकती है। उनका आशीर्वाद भी इस तरह मिलता है, जिससे साधक को किसी अन्य की सहायता की आवश्यकता नहीं पड़ती है। वह स्वयं सर्वशक्तिमान हो जाता है। इनकी प्रसन्नता के लिए कभी भी उपासना की जा सकती है, क्योंकि शास्त्राज्ञा में चंडी हवन के लिए किसी भी मुहूर्त की अनिवार्यता नहीं है। नवरात्रि में इस आराधना का विशेष महत्व है। इस समय के तप का फल कई गुना व शीघ्र मिलता है। इस फल के कारण ही इसे कामदूधा काल भी कहा जाता है। देवी या देवता की प्रसन्नता के लिए पंचांग साधन का प्रयोग करना चाहिए। पंचांग साधन में पटल, पद्धति, कवच, सहस्त्रनाम और स्रोत हैं। पटल का शरीर, पद्धति को शिर, कवच को नेत्र, सहस्त्रनाम को मुख तथा स्रोत को जिह्वा कहा जाता है। इन सब की साधना से साधक देव तुल्य हो जाता है। सहस्त्रनाम में देवी के एक हजार नामों की सूची है। इसमें उनके गुण हैं व कार्य के अनुसार नाम दिए गए हैं। सहस्त्रनाम के पाठ करने का फल भी महत्वपूर्ण ...

Environmentalist and social activist Chandi Prasad Bhatt on 15 July 2014 was awarded with the prestigious Gandhi Peace prize for 2013.
